Because we live in america (or if even you dont same human nature) and were driven by money. there is no such thing as reality in marketing, its all perceived value. thats why people are so confused because of the multibillion dollar supplement companies that bombard everything of their bs product research to push their products. youre just gonna have to trust your instincts, which one you think sounds right through research and your own intellect. take care, look after youself. :)

Where can I find information about extreme sports activities and related US demand figures for each sport?

Question by Simon83: Where can I find information about extreme sports activities and related US demand figures for each sport?
Would really appreciate the help as I am having trouble finding market data about extreme sporting activities in the US for eg, Skydiving, Wakeboarding, Mountain biking, Motocross, Snowboarding and the like.

Looking specifically for demand figures for such sports preferably on an annual basis – eg 101,370 people participated in wakeboarding in year 2006…. Thanks :)

If weight loss is all about reducing calories and exercising, why not starve yourself?

Question by Bug Guy :) : If weight loss is all about reducing calories and exercising, why not starve yourself?
Everyone seems to say the same thing about weight loss; reduce calories, exercise more. Then why not starve yourself? Then there is NO calories. Wouldn’t that make the most sense? Wouldn’t the body use up its fat reserves quicker?

What are these martial arts, and what can you tell me about them?

Question by Darth Drahcir: What are these martial arts, and what can you tell me about them?
My friends mentioned a couple martial arts that they were interested in. One of them he said was about balance and it sounded like “shadow” when he pronounced it. He siad that it is one of the top five martial arts in I think the US, or maybe the world. It is up there with Karate, Jujitsu, Taekwondo, etc. The other one was a martial art where the first rule is that there are no rules, that you do whatever it takes to survive. He said that you could take on 12 guys at once even when they have surrounded you. What are the names of these martial arts?

Ha i wrote Persuasive essay on skateboarding two semesters ago…actually all my papers usually are about skateboarind

Well skateboarding and other extreme sports give you a different personal feel of accomplishment and satisfication. Skateboarding is a one man show you dont have a team to rely on ..and on a team your only as good as the rest of the players and with skateboarding everything you work for is done by yourself and when you finnally accomplish whatever your trying to do..like a trick or something…the personal satisfaction is far more then say a football player scoring a touchdown or something……Ill try a trick hundreds of times over and over…..and when i finnally land it people say i dont even look happy…but the joy i have from doing it is so great that i dont need to jump up and down and scream and cheer like a football player..i just do a little fist to my chest bump and continue going because the joy that i got from finnaly doing it is more then joy..its a feeling of being able to overcome something that was holding me back (the hundreds of attempts and finnaly landing it) ……. ..With most sports you only do them every soo often like basketball or tennis…but once your a skateboarder its a life long commiment thats your proud to be doing and you couldnt see yourself beeing labled anything but a skateboarder.

Q&A: How do you go about getting into archery?

Question by Ali<3: How do you go about getting into archery?
I’m a 13 year old girl and I really wanna start learning archery. How would I go about it?

Best answer:

Answer by Harry Hunter
The first thing you want to do is find a good archery club in your area that perhaps has a good coaching reputation. These clubs will usually give archery lessons that will allow you to learn the basics. It’s best at first if you don’t buy any equipment, but instead rent it from the club itself, especially if you’re not sure if you want to stick with archery.

If you end up wanting to stick to the sport, then you can go to an archery shop and have them help you buy some of the equipment needed. They should have bows and other equipment for youth like yourself.

Q&A: What is the truth about muscle building pills?

Question by zantaff: What is the truth about muscle building pills?
So I was reading Men’s Fitness on a plane and saw a bunch of muscle building pills, and a bunch of other ads for electronic muscle stimulation and stuff.

The electric machine sounds like bullcrap, but I was wondering if taking the muscle pills before/after a workout was really that beneficial.

If they are, what are the good ones to use, and what would you buy?

Thanks.

There are bad and good pills to help you loose weight. Don’t take anything that says it will reduce appetite. That can cause all kinds of side effects. Also, alot of those pills contain high amounts of speed which is never good.

For the good pills, take natural supplements. You will also need to exercising for them to work properly. If exercising, I recommend Slimmetry dietary supplement. All it contains is Green Tea Extract, Yerba Mate Extract, Birch Extract.
Some others:
CLA 500 to help reduce fat and promote lean muscle retention

Glucose Health includes chromium picolinate, an essential trace mineral that plays an important role in activating a key enzyme involved in metabolism.

Another good supplement is Carb Blocker 2 which helps block absorption of both sugars and starches.

Go to http://Arcameda.com and search the site for these items or click on Weight Management then supplements. Exercising and drinking plenty of water.
